Secret - 1997 Gray Arab/Paint Mare
She joined our program in 2007

She came from a family in Lincoln. Her small stature makes it much easier for the volunteers to 'side walk,' we don't have to reach up very high

Lily - 1987 Chestnut Arab Mare
She joined the program in 2009

She came from a family in Citrus Heights.  She was used in the past as a jumper and lesson horse.  She has a lot of get up and go for an old gal.

We are looking for a new home for Lily.  Please contact us if you are interested in her.

Odie - 1992 Bay Quarterhorse Gelding

Odie has previously worked with the program in late 2008 through early 2009.  He belonged to a trainer at AEC and went with her when she left the ranch.  In June 2010, he was offered back to the program as he was unable to continue as a jumping lesson horse.  His calm and quiet demeanor and size make him a wonderful therapy horse.

Dusty - 2003 Dapple Gray Missouri Fox Trotter Gelding

He joined the program in 2007

He came to us from Nevada. He is big and tall and is able to handle our adult riders, but quiet and patient for our younger ones. Even though he is young he fits into our program with great promise.

Amtal - 1984 Gray Arab Gelding

2/13/84 - 5/21/08

Following a career as an endurance horse, this little grey Arabian gelding with a big heart, joined our therapeutic riding center. He was always patient with everyone who rode him the eight years he was with us, especially the children. He will be sorely missed by all who benefited from his service.

Bill - 1981 Bay Quarter Horse Gelding

1981 - 2008

Bill retired at the end of 2007 at the age of 26 afer 8 years of service in our program. A bay Quarter Horse gelding, he was a great mount for independent riders.  He got to spend his last days back at home with his owner, Judy Hall.
